Lighthouses

Follow a self-tour of lighthouses and maritime locations from Clay/Algonac to Port Austin, Michigan. The Blue Water Area, along the shores of Lake Huron, has a multiplicity of Lights, guiding sailors past and present. From Algonac to Port Austin you can sight-see, tour, drive and boat to ten of the area lights.

This tour starts at the south end of the Blue Water Area and heads north to the tip of the thumb. But take it as you will and enjoy your journey of the history presented by these beacons of nautical lore.
