Summer Getaway Trip in St. Clair, Michigan
A great way to recharge yourself is to take a break and go on a getaway trip. As part of my adult getaway series, I recommend visiting the charming town of St. Clair, located about an hour’s drive north of Detroit along the beautiful St. Clair River. This riverside city has an excellent atmosphere for summer fun and is known for its popular outdoor concert series and boardwalk views of freighters.
A Getaway from the Everyday
You have several options if you’re looking for a place to stay in St. Clair. You can book a waterfront hotel, such as the River Crab’s Blue Water Inn or the St. Clair Inn, where you can enjoy views of passing freighters. Alternatively, you can opt for a cozy historic inn or a campground located at the harbor. Explore all the available accommodations in the area.
