The Thumbcoast has over 80 public parks where dogs are welcome on a leash, but if your fur baby loves to swim, we have six public beaches they’re welcome!

At the designated beaches, pets must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times, including in the water.

Sniffspot is a website and mobile app that lets dog owners rent private, secure outdoor spaces—like fenced yards, fields, and trails—by the hour so their dogs can run and play safely. It’s especially helpful for reactive dogs or pets that don’t do well at crowded dog parks. When traveling with pets, you can use Sniffspot to find quiet exercise areas along your route or near your destination.
