Description
Pine Grove Park is one of our older and most popular parks.
You can almost see hoop skirts, picture hats, high hats and horse drawn carriages of years past. A gazebo adds to the flavor. The sweep of 1500 feet on the river gives a clear view of ships passing and the fishing off the boardwalk is a popular pastime throughout most of the year. Picnic areas, softball diamond, playground equipment and shuffleboard courts add to the fun. Portable restrooms are available and there is a concession stand on site during the summer.
A favorite for community programs, family reunions or just a stroll on a summer evening.
