Description
Swimming beach, barrier-free sidewalk, bathrooms, spring toys, picnic tables, barbecue grills, shady grassy areas with views of passing freighters. Strong currents in the St. Clair River. The beach is also walkable to restaurants, shopping and accommodations.
The playground has universally accessible components such as a wheelchair swing, mobi-mat for access to the water's edge and accessible playground digger. There is also a barrier-free fishing platform and dual viewfinder at the adjacent pavilion.
