Pete and Chris Kautz have owned Kautz Shore Lanes for over 30 years and their business has become a well-known and local favorite hot spot. Area residents as well as visitors to the Blue Water Area enjoy a relaxed and comfortable atomsphere while soaking up some of the local flavor and culture.
Kautz Shore Lanes, a member of the Mid Thumb Bowling Association Kautz Shore, also features a restaurant and lounge area serving delicious food and spirits.
The restaurant, added in 1995, brings an additional attraction to the area economy and families to the Village of Lexington for appetizing dining.
As a successful recreational business, Kautz Shore Lanes has made wonderful upgrades to the bowling center over the years. From replacing the original wood lanes with a more modern synthetic surface to changes in equipment, oil and bowling balls.
Kautz Shore Lanes features seven adult leagues and a youth league on Saturday mornings.
