Description
Bird Creek Farm and Tap Room is a tap room and restaurant, where dining is enjoyed on the wide wrap-around porch, perfect for Port Austin blue skies and sunsets. It is a family run and family friendly enterprise that has something for everyone: lawn games (Corn Hole, CanJam, Bocce Ball), kid’s play stuff, farm to fork organic food selections, site brewed beer and fantastic food creations from Port Austin’s very own Culinary Institute of Michigan Instructor serving up all sorts of fantastic fare.
The farm portion comprises 40 acres of alfalfa, annual vegetables, and a stretch of the Bird Creek watershed.
The farm is within the village limits of Port Austin, within a mile from the shores of Lake Huron. Having been farmed for generations before Bird Creek Farm came to be, the land is still producing wonderful food for the local community and beyond.
