Description
Bird Creek County Park is located in the Village of Port Austin and is surrounded on 3 sides by water – Lake Huron on the north and Bird Creek on the west and south.
This 7-acre day-use park is free and includes picnic areas and a large, sandy public beach. There are restrooms, showers, picnic tables, barbeque grills, a horseshoe court, basketball hoop, and a playground area. A large pavilion is available for rent at $60 per day.
A large boardwalk extends all along the north, west and half of the south side of the park and includes bump-outs with picnic tables. There are also wooden fishing decks along the south side on Bird Creek.
A concession stand with pop, ice cream & snacks is available on weekends.
