The westbound I-94/I-69 connector from M-25 (Pine Grove Avenue) near the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron will be closed January 16–19, 2026 for pavement repairs.

Traffic will be detoured via M-25 (Pine Grove Avenue) and Griswold Street to access I-94/I-69 according to MDOT. Please plan extra travel time.

Due to construction, expect possible backups on the Blue Water Bridge heading into Canada. Alternate route to Canada is  the Walpole Island Ferry (I-94 Exit 243) at 202 Fruit St., Algonac. Alternate routes for travel to the northern Thumbcoast via M25 for EB I-94:

• Exit 271 (I-69 Business Loop, Port Huron)
• Exit 266 (Marysville)
• Exit 257 (St. Clair)
