The World’s Longest Continuously Run Long Distance Freshwater Yacht Race!
Watch the sailing teams as they make their way out of the Black River in Port Huron and head for the starting line on Lake Huron. Departure times vary by class, with boats leaving throughout the morning until noon.
For the best views—and a chance to wave the teams off—head to the Black River between Desmond Marine and River Street Marina, or find a spot along Quay Street and Water Street.
Another great vantage point is under the Blue Water Bridges or along Thomas Edison Park, where you can watch the fleet sail past on their way to the race.
