Birchwood Mall has seven indoor, family-friendly attractions that are perfect for rainy or cold days!
Book an Escape Room or Game Show Night at The Hallway Entertainment in Downtown Port Huron. Test your skills, laugh and have a great time with room designs using gaming methodologies. The Foundry in Port Huron, the Craft Loft in St. Clair and A Little Hobby Ceramics Studio in Marysville are all places you can explore your inner artist with painting, pottery or photography studio spaces to use.

Have you tried the golf simulator at Solitude Links Golf Course? Try their custom-built 16-foot by 10-foot high-impact screen enclosure and HD 1080p resolution. Schedule a private group tee time by calling (810) 982-3673. Be sure to call ahead for this popular rainy-day activity near Port Huron.
Buy tickets to see a live theatre performance. Riverbank Theatre in Marine City has a variety of shows throughout the year. Another great theatre option is at Enter Stage Right in Port Huron. These are just a few suggestions out of the many locations to visit on our Theatre Page.
Get some popcorn and catch a flick at the boutique theater, Sperry’s Moviehouse. Relax in a cozy recliner with a full menu option for dining at your seat. On the lower level is the Arcadehouse. They are open Monday – Thursday, 12 – 9 pm, Friday – Saturday, 12 – 11 pm, and Sunday, 12 – 6 pm.

The Thumbcoast has skating rinks for roller skating at Family Fun & Skate or ice skating at Glacier Pointe. Both offer indoor and open skate options for the entire family with loads of fun!
The Pine River Nature Center is a see-and-touch way to explore nature indoors. They have nature displays, an observational beehive, and an astronomy exhibit. When the weather is nice, take a hike to their treehouse in the woods. They are open Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 4:30 pm, and Friday, 8:30 – 3 pm.
The YMCA is a beautiful facility in Port Huron with panoramic views of the St. Clair River. They offer day passes to visit their pool, or book a swimming lane. Be sure to call in advance for closures by contacting the YMCA directly.

A brand-new exhibit is coming soon to Port Huron. Knowlton Museum will feature Top Secret: License to Spy, a James Bond-style interactive experience for kids of all ages. Make plans to explore the world of spying and espionage, April 29 – September 5.
The 17,000-square-foot Experience Center has a natural science museum, a bird and mineral gallery, and other interactive exhibits. Admission is free and open to the public Monday – Friday, 9 – 5 pm on the SC4 Campus in Port Huron.
Visit the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum in the shoreline community of Port Sanilac. Their collection includes over a dozen historic buildings such as the Loop-Harrison Mansion, a blacksmith shop & train depot. The Mansion has inside tours if you call the office ahead at 810-622-9946.

Grab an umbrella and take this rainy day opportunity to explore all the unique boutiques in Downtown Port Huron’s Historic District.
The downtown area of Water St. and Broadway at Marine City’s Nautical Mile has plenty of stores you can explore.
St. Clair has an outdoor area with covered hallways at the Riverview Plaza. At the plaza, see the indoor Artisan Market with local artist booths. Bonus: There is a craft brewery and wine house here too!
Rain days are a perfect excuse to visit the spa. Make plans at a Thumbcoast Spa for a day of pampering with a body scrub, detox wrap, or Bamboo Fusion massage. The massage uses bamboo stalks for the ultimate relaxation technique. Try out the newest relaxation place, Spa Blu, in Port Huron.

Visit the Great Lakes Maritime Center at Vantage Point in Port Huron. Watch passing freighters up close from indoors and hear all about them as they pass. Open seasonally from May through the end of October.
Wrigley Hall is a 30,000-square-foot food hall & entertainment venue. Opening in the spring of 2023, they plan to combine the best sights, sounds, and flavors of the community under one roof with amenities that include: innovative culinary concepts, three unique bars, a distillery, live entertainment, concerts, and a rock-climbing wall.
