Book an escape room or game show night at The Hallway Entertainment [9], located inside The Foundry in downtown Port Huron. Test your skills, laugh, and enjoy immersive rooms designed with game-based challenges. The Foundry [1] features splatter paint, cosmic pottery, a no appointment needed art bar, and a makers’ space The Forge [10]. In nearby St. Clair, The Craft Loft [11] has painting and DIY fun as well as Make St. Clair [12].
For a one-stop indoor entertainment hub in downtown Port Huron, check out the sprawling 30,000-square-foot Wrigley Center [13]. This complex is packed with variety, including four unique bars (one of them a secret speakeasy), an arcade, food stalls, billiards, bowling, darts, shuffleboard, and even a golf simulator that’s open during the cooler months. Don’t miss Dots [14], the candy bar that got me hooked! Try the peanut butter square; it officially recruited me into the peanut butter fan club.
The space has whatever vibe you’re after—from laid-back, kid-friendly hangouts in the early afternoon to a more grown-up, lively crowd as the evening rolls in. By the way, the secret speakeasy won’t be hard to find. Just look for the door to the laundry room [15] by the billiard tables. It has a warm and intimate feel reminiscent of a prohibition-style speakeasy.

Rain or shine, the game is always on at indoor golf simulators. These high-tech setups allow you to swing real clubs and hit real balls into a large screen that utilizes advanced sensors and software to simulate some of the world’s most famous courses. Whether you’re playing a full 18 holes, practicing your drive, or competing with friends, it’s a fun and weatherproof way to enjoy golf year-round. With crisp HD visuals, realistic ball tracking, and comfy indoor settings, it’s perfect for a casual night out, a private group tee time, or keeping your skills sharp in the off-season.

Both locations offer a fun way to stay active and entertained in the Port Huron area.

Head indoors to the free Pine River Nature Center [25], where a log-style building invites you to explore nature up close. Inside, you’ll find natural hands-on exhibits and several live creatures like turtles and snakes. An observational beehive and interactive displays make learning fun for all ages. It’s the perfect day escape to learn about local habitats and ecosystems.

The YMCA [26] in Port Huron is a beautiful facility with panoramic views of the St. Clair River. Visitors can purchase day passes to enjoy the amenities, with no membership required. Swim in the pool, work out in the fitness center, or shoot hoops at the indoor basketball court.

You Time

Finish that book you started, catch up with a friend and reminisce over good conversation, and follow the uplifting aroma of freshly brewed coffee to a cozy spot nearby [32]. It’s important to carve out quality time for yourself and the people you care about. Sometimes, it’s the little moments over a great cup of coffee or tea that mean the most.

Rainy days are the perfect excuse to slow down and indulge in some much-needed relaxation. Plan a visit to a Thumbcoast spa [33] and treat yourself to a massage, body scrub, or detox treatment. It’s the ideal way to recharge, refresh, and let someone pamper you. I personally checked out a few of these to make sure they’d meet the “me time” standard, and they do!
