East China Township Park & Dog Park is located at M-29 and Recor Road and is a fun spot for kids, adults and dogs!
With 81 grassy acres, the park provides an area for fresh air, sports activities and fun time. Several pavilions, a great wooden play-scape and playground provide an ideal area for picnics and family gatherings. The wooded area includes walking trails. A paved bike path, which is part of the Bridge to Bay Trail, winds through the park. The steep sledding hill, also know as the Edison Hill, is a wonderful spot for winter fun.Baseball, softball fields and soccer fields are also on the property as well as a dog park.Dog Park: This is a place for your dog to run, play and socialize with other dogs. Situated near the parking lot by
the bike path. The dog park includes about 2 acres with a six-foot high,
chain-linked fence surrounding the area.
Dogs that enter the park
must be accompanied by an owner and must be able to play nicely with
other dogs. All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated, children under 14
years old cannot enter the park without an adult and female dogs in heat
or aggressive dogs are not allowed. Owners are also required to clean
up after their pets.
