Port Sanilac

Port Sanilac, nestled on Lake Huron’s blue water shores, is a sesquicentennial treasure. A historic waterfront village with scenic beaches, famous shipwrecks and a modern harbor facility. There are many local attractions. The Sanilac County Underwater Preserve has shipwrecks dating as far back as 1864 and is a treasure trove for scuba divers.

This beautiful community provides many opportunities to escape urban living and enjoy a more relaxing lifestyle for the summer months or year round.

The Barn Theater puts on light-hearted productions and Huron Shores Golf Club has a course that is both scenic and challenging. Port Sanilac, is home to the Sanilac County Historical Museum and Michigan’s oldest continually operating hardware store, Raymond Hardware, plus many antique stores throughout the area.
