Did you know that water covers nearly threequarters of Earth’s surface and that 20% of the World’s fresh water is in the Great Lakes region?
In a series of hands-on experiments, Water Watchers can create a water system, clean up an oil spill and learn how to protect our storm drains!
Participants in this fun-filled program will learn about the importance the Great Lakes play in the world’s fresh water supply and what we can do to keep it clean. A tour of the Main Museum’s Marine Gallery will complete this program.
