Port Huron Rotary Club has just announced that "Kids Rock" is the theme of the 2010 International Day Parade!
The “Kids Rock” theme aligns with the musical venues (soft rock 'n roll bands) of The Blue Water Fest taking place later in the week.
This theme hopes to encourage ideas from registrants that reflect popular young musical entertainers of today such as Hanna Montana, the Jonas Brothers or Justin Bieber.
Balloons, floats, marching bands, clowns and more will parade through downtown!
This year, the parade will begin at Glenwood and Erie Streets (SC4 campus) heading west then turn south on Pine Grove Ave. to proceed thru downtown Port Huron and end at Chestnut Street, disbanding at Desmond Landing.
Parade applications will be available for download on the Chamber’s website www.bluewaterchamber.com or pick up at the Chamber office beginning April 15, 2010.
